Removing Headlight switch from dash

hi guys,
How do i get the headlight switch out of my mum's car? Its a vy commodore. I managed to break it while she is away over the holidays :cry:

Easiest way is to remove the instrument cluster. 2 screw up the top to remove the shroud. then a couple more screws to remove the cluster. Then you can reach your hand in,The switch is held in place by 2 metal prongs that when the swich is pushed in they come out and hold tension against the dash. You just squeeze them in and the switch should come out towards you.
You can remove the switch with the cluster in place, with a couple of picks, but you risk scraching and or marking the dash.

Thanks tons.
I called the wreckers today and they have one, so luckily i wont be in trouble.
I dont think she would too impressed to come home and find things broken when i have my own car.
