Has anyone removed or have diagrams of removal of the centre part of the dash on a VU Hsv series 2 (2002)? Want to remove it to paint it!!

    Cheers

    Exactly like yours!! Sick:)
    Same color too?? Delft blue?
Got lower one out easy. Do i get radio face off. Undo 2 screws above tacho etc? Is the rest just clips?
Also, im wanting to get rid of double din radio cassette and put something 'modern'. How do i go about stalk adapter for steering wheel set up? Looked on line....nothing! Does it depend on stereo make?
    Cheers for that

yes thats it 4 screws and all clips (the other two you must already have out because they also hold the lower part in), be warned once out the biggest problem is the ####ing headlight switch when you ***try*** and take it out of the cut out.

cheers m8,turned out awesome was very happy..

lolol i used windsor blue for mine m8 and think its a great color,i had to remove the radio to get the whole thing off..also once the bottom is off i think theres just the 2 screws on the bottom(near the ashtray looking bit) the rest is clips, been awhile since i done it :)

like undar said the headlight switch can be tricky but isnt too bad lol

try post a pic to m8!!
