I'm 99% into removing my vy door trim and have come to a halt at the lock button .how do i remove this button to remove the trim? as that is all thats stopping me cheers Grant
The red section in the lock button clamps the locking knob to the lock rod in the door. Using a small flat blade screwdriver inserted under the bottom edge of the red tab, lever it out about 2 or 3mm, then the lock button will lift off.
Yep, what Cobra said. Good luck with not damaging the red tabs and/or the lock knobs though!! If you do, you can pick them up from Holden for about $3.50 each for the lock knob & red tab complete.
