removing rear rotors vx wagon

    hi guys , i am removing the rear rotors from a vx wagon , complete caliper off and the disk wobbles a lttle , but wont just pull off , is there some thing i need to do to the parking brake to release it......rather ask then stuff some thing up :)

    Yes release the handbrake, give it a few taps with a rubber mallet.

    tried all that :( it really seems like the handbrake is grabbing , rotor comes about a third the length of the wheel studs and just jambs , even trying to prise it off isn,t working ,

    have you taken the caliper mount off as well?

    got it off , and yeah calliper mount was off , the handbrake pads had come off the top retaining clip , so had partially come out with the rotor ,, causing the pad to jamb, got big screw driver behind it , prised it back anad the rotor popped straight off , thanks for your help guys :)

    heres a tip. make sure you put the new pads in the right way round!! dont ask me how i know you can put them in backwards and ruin a brand new rotor.....
