Removing side moldings

Has anyone ever pulled off these side moldings off their commie , a heap of m8s are tellin me to pull them off as it looks more custom and SS style.

Lots of people have pulled it off... but the SS has the big fat side moulds so I dont know why it would make it more SS style..

From what I was told, just use dental floss or fishing line to get the trim off, then eucalyptus oil on the sticky stuff to help get that off. The smaller moulds like that arent as bad as the big fat ones lie on the VN Berlina and Calais.

Yeah i just ripped mine off, and as they had been re stuck on in the past with poly urethane, all the paint came off with them. Lucky it was on its way to get resprayed anyway...
