Removing those rubber plates from rear springs

    if i remove the rubber bits ont he top and the bottom of each rear spring will this do anything

    my matbe done it and it lowered the car near an inch more, mine are pretty wrecked anyway

    i got kings super lows and wanna go more and thought ill do this

    Bump stops, need those... you can have them shaved but don't remove them..

    PLUS, with superlows there will be no issues as they shouldn't touch even under spring compression...

    These are insulators that stop your car from groaning and creaking. Remove them if you want to make a lot of noise.

    Take them out if you want. It will make it lower. But...and there is always a but, take the chance of it making a noise. Metal on metal usually creaks or squeaks when it moves, the rubber insulators take that contact away.

    Oh, and I have a friend that was shot in the head with a cross bow, he's ok too, do you want me to shoot you in the head with a cross bow? Extreme comparison I know, it's your choice if you want to take the risk.

    thats funny!
    I guess what it comes down to is wether or not u like roadnoise and squeaks, if you can live with that go for it. but honestly i cant see you getting much difference in height the insultors on my car arent that thick.

    you will get around 10-20mm and usually this levels the car out in the rear. Why not go for some shorter spring insulaters from noltec or get them shaved as someone already mentioned
