First post long time lurker,

Just got my VX a few weeks ago and it has seems that the tint on the rear window has a hole in it, the glue that has been used with the tint has become hazy.

Anyone got any tips of removing tint from the rear window without damaging the demister bars ?, I have been to a few tint places but they all want about $120-150 to replace the tint.

Regards
David

Tho I would suggest if you dont want to ruin the de misters I would have a professional do it, as they will cover the cost if they damage it.

I had my previous car done by these guys and they did a fatastic job on the tint. Im actually about to have the whole tint redone on my current
car when the weather gets a bit warmer as its starting to deteriorate on the drivers side window.

In some cases it might be best to have the whole car redone, as there are so many different shades and quality of tint.
