Hi guys, i am really wanting to repaint my dash but want to know what the finished product looks like. if anyone has already done this, plz post ur pics.....

i got mine painted same colour as my car.
pic below although the lighting doesnt do it justice

what did it cost u to get it painted? do u think it is something you could do yourself, with some spray colour and some clear coat? (obviously, if not being too picky on exact colour matching to your car).

If you are good at spray painting there no reason why you couldn't do it yourself, providing you know how to remove the parts you want to paint.

i got it done when i did my stereo....i think it was like $50 or $60 to paint the 2 peices.
yeah as long as you use plastic primer, prep it properly i dont see why not...
worst case it turns out sh*t you rub it back and pay someone to do it. you can save a lot of money if you take it off and prep it and just hand it to the guy to paint

this might sound silly, but can you drive around without the dash ok?
like.. for a day or so, while it's getting painted?
ps i drive manual - would this affect it more?

Yeah you can drive around without any problems with no dash.

Everything is held in place on its own or would be clipped back into their loom holding it in place.

Whether you get pulled over and its legal or not im not sure.
