repairing button for windscreen washers/sprayers/squirters

    can anyone tell me how to fix the squiter button for a 93 vp it is no longer working? yes i have checked there is water in it

    did you check that the pump itself is working? I had to replace mine cause it was rusted.

    take it out and clean the filter on the intake of the little pump.

    If its your button, pull of the end piece, remove the spring and shove the black rod thing as far as it can go a couple of times. Worked on mine. It may be stuck. Replace spring and cover, check operation.

    Does the washer motor make any noise?
    When you push the button does the wiper come on?

    I know you have probably already checked, but ensure that both the hoses are connected properly. Gets me every time, lol.
