Replace Caliper Slider Pins?

I bought 2nd hand VT calipers a few years back for my VC.....Put new pads in and used the same slide pins and bolts back then.

A few months back, I removed the slide pins, re-greased them and put them back in.....Same applies with the rear VC calipers....Haven't had a problem with them yet.

I think the only brakes I've come across, that have new bolts with the new pads are AU onwards Falcons.....Might be wrong.....

Never had a customer come back with a problem in the thousands I've done

american car that drove on salt roads
and one datsun that owner had managed to destroy using vicegrips to try to remove
i do use a drop of loctite blue, and i mean a tiny drop
