I want to replace my engine mounts, but don't have an engine hoist, can i use a bottle jack under where the engine bell housing meets the transmission to relief the weight? Also does anyone know the correct jacking points on the VR's? Thanks.

i've previously replaced engine mount by putting a jack under the sump with a lump of wood to spread the load. do one side at a time. unfortunatly i've never done it on this model

i did the engine mounts in my VN just with a jack under the sump, so i cant see why you wouldnt be able to do it with yours. good luck:thumbsup:

High performance engine mounts? WTF..... U must have a serious amount of HP under ur bonnet to require them (if they exist)

Is a bit of a prick of a job, need to remove the A/C compressor on the pass side.......
