Replaceing Cutch -- Need Help Please!

umm well if its any play at all its very minimal before the push to engage the clutch and its just...really solid.. what options to check are there without haveing to remove the houseing / gearbox?

if the cables moving free ide be thinking maybe the fork pivot set wrong.does it have an inspection cover that you can get into the bellhousing to adjust the pivot or is it a full round bellhousing with a flat plate covering the flywheel.

You will need a VR spigot bush.
I was in the same shoes as you and got sent the wrong one and had to go to Holden and get a VR one. The one I got was a bearing one and not just a brass sleeve that I needed. If I find the part number I'll let you know.

i just used the one that came out of the car already so it wasnt any trouble..

thanks man, shes still a bit wierd but i guess its just the car i spose. Hey if you have a clutch plate that isnt to badly worn, can you sell them 2nd hand?

Um not too sure on that one...Cushion springs would be thicker? Plate would be slightly thicker?

yup i can remember that the springs were thicker on the one i put in the car, il just chuck the plate up for like $50 on sale section i recont thats fair
