Hi Folks,

I hope someone can help. I have a manual SSV and the leather on the gear shift knob has worn through and is uncomfortable to operate. I have sourced a billiard ball type shift knob, but it is a threaded fit.
So the question is...does anyone know what the diameter of the shifter shaft is?

The way I see it I have 2 optionsto fit the new knob. 1) Thread the shaft to suit the thread of the knob or 2) Bore out the knob to suit the diameter of the shaft and either thread of glue in but would prefer to go the threaded route.

Thoughts anyone?
