replacing front seat

:bang: i have managed to snap the weld that holds the seat to the runner, because of that i have to replace the front seat... being the indoor decorating type and knowing nothing about bolts could someone please tell me (in idiot terms) how to change the seats over??:thumbsup:

the rails should have four allen key screws/bolts, pretty sure its a case of undoing said four screws / bolts and then presto your seat is out.

from there you can either get new rails [ wrecker ] or replace the seat entirely ( maybe go a VS S2 seat, its slightly more "buckety" ( better side leg support slightly deeper back )

One of the easiest jobs.

If you have a height adjuster jack it up, there are 4 allens bolts, one in each corner.
Pull the seat out of the car and turn it upside down and take out the 4 allen bolts, again one in each corner.
Go to the wreckers and get a replacement set of runners and fit in the reverse.

A common problem with people who lean the seat back too far when driving.

Please note that they cannot be repaired as the heat weakens the metal.:wax:
