Replacing globe on ignition ring

I've got a replacement globe for the ignition ring but can't seem to find any instructions on how to replace it. Before I start tearing things to bits, does anyone have a link to the proper way to do it or the steps involved?

I'd rather do it right rather than figure it out as I go and potentially break something.
