Replacing Handbrake shoes... help please

Nope, i wish i could say yeah , i do hand brakies all the time but no, done maybe 2 of them since i owned it. maybe someone adjusted them wrong in the past and they wore out cos they were touching the drum ? don't know, will be pulling them off to check tho, cos now you got me wondering. The VS even plays a little song when you drive off with te handbrake on .... done that a few times, does that count ?

as i said its easy as ****, you can also adjust them in the housing so u get more out of them without tighting the cable underneath, works like drum brakes

Hahahaha, old thread that's been bumped. Easy is not a word I would associate with changing VR handbrake shoes..... Fs, Cs, MF, and AH is how I'd describe it......
