Replacing L77 AFM lifters

Guys when replacing L77 lifters is it the done thing to soak them in oil? both standard and afm?

Guys when replacing L77 lifters is it the done thing to soak them in oil? both standard and afm?
Best to prime them before install. Then turn over the engine without starting (by removing ignition fuse or plug leads).

How do you know if you have oil pressure or not in a VE SEries 2 6L VESSV? Have had the heads off, replaced the lifters, heads serviced, new tiiming chain, new oil pickup tube oring. Have turned the motor for a couple of minutes. CEL appears to be on but that maybe when the one lifter become noisy it through some lights up?
