Replacing my Gear Box few q's?

    ok so my auto gave way yesterday, ive organised a replacment box for next wekk, ive bought a self service kit, now what i want to know is can i put a corevette servo in a stock box? and whats required in fitting a shift kit my self and whats the best kit to buy?

    thanks amt now they gear box i have got has 80 thou on it and is good condition, if i fit a transgo kit and corvette servo what sort of gear change can i expect i know second will be direct to the point, But will it it be to harsh i have kids and i drive normal with them in the car and about once every few days i put my foot down not hard but enough to go to about 3500 just to give it a clean out what can i expect at that range
