Sold for scrap :(
Well I dropped the ass of the car about a month ago and never posted any pics, so I jacked her up yesterday and took pics.

It was too easy to do ;) ; this was on my VR Calais IRS/ABS and LSD diff
I used Lovells Rear Super Low coils, they where $125 from American Autos

1.Jack car up from diff and take rear wheels off
2.Put stands under car and let the diff down
3.undo bottom shock bolts and (not sure of name) the sway bar bolt (4 bolts)
4.Control arms will drop; remove old springs, (may need to pry them out)
5.Install new springs; jack up control arm to get bolts back in (making sure to guide the springs into place.
6.Tighten all Bolts, replace wheels, jack car up off stands, remove stands and let car down. DONE

Will take about 2-3 weeks for springs to settle down to normal hight

I still need to get new bushes (rubbers) but.
Here are the pics
Will post some side on pics soon I want my car to be clean LOL
+ With 15" wheels you don't notice it unless you look at a standard ass end

I wished l did mine myself. I had pedders springs installed front and back, to go along with my pedder shockies, for $400. It was a custom height so l guess l didn't do to bad but $125!!! Thats not too bad!!

Wheres some pics of what the car looks like though?

Heres mine before the job:

Get the car back in 2 or 3 days, so I will take pics then, getting the old girls leaky problem fixed up at a mates work :)
Getting the manifold and rocker gaskets replaced and the radiator full service and other stuff too, so should be good, she has had this prob since I got her so it will be good to drive it running better now.

This is the last photo taken before the car was smashed up just found it today, and one of the best showing the lowering, with bigger rims in would heaps lower but I only have 15's"

Second pic is the lowered one, the front already had FE2 set up so it sweet
if it doesn't look like much go and look at at stock commie and see how high the ass sits trust me as I Have a exec sitting next to it right now and its looks like a 4wd LOL

Missed a step !!!:hit:

The Gregory's manual recommends disconecting the drive shafts at the wheel hub and supporting them...

The idea being when you undo your lower shock mounts and drop the lower suspension arms...you then dont put undo stresses on the drive shaft boots and cause them to tear...just a precaution as you're moving the shaft beyond it's normal operating range when you drop the lower shock mount off.

:)

Exactly where on the diff do you jack from (if it even matters).
Front, middle, back?

I'm just worried about cracking the housing.

Place a Trolley Jack at the back... the lowest point of the diff housing... and because the diff housing plate is alloy I usually stick a piece of pine plank between the diff and the jack to avoid marking the diff.

The front of the diff is tapered so you risk the trolley jack slipping if you try to jack it up from there.

Yeh I know I read that Step but I skipped it as I was only moving the diff down a couple of inches they say that those steps are for removing the whole diff, I did this more then one and it didn't affect the diff at all or the way the car handled, it was just on it ass that all, when you drove it, the ass would get even lower as the shocks were standard so when sitting still it look only a lil lower
