Hi I have got some of the Accessory sill plates for my Redline to replace the standard ones. Unlike most other accessories they didn't come with instructions.

I am not a complete newbie I have restored quite a few older Holden's which generally use clips or retainers for trims, (self adhesive sill plates are a first I thought they would have had a clip or similar device).
They are Stainless steel with adhesive backing, I'm assuming I have to remove the original plates, is there any trick to getting the original ones off without damaging the sills?
    :hmmm:

use a heat gun to melt the glue of the old ones and then get like a scraper or plastic trim tool to lift it off and the clean the area and attach new ones! hope this helps

Thanks for the reply, I just found a copy of the accessories manual on the net, you have hit the nail on the head.
After reading the instructions looks like I might need to find a warm shed. Says to keep at 22C for at least 1/2 hour to let the tape bond too.
