Looking to replace my front speakers and managed to get to the tweeters under the front vents. Question is, i noticed the stock tweeters are screwed onto the mount through the back of the tweeter, now when i buy my new splits will the tweeters have the hole in the back of them to allow me to attach to existing mount or is there another way they have to be attached as per factory.

I'm pretty sure I screwed mine in, but had to make the bracket hole bigger to fit a larger screw

I just fitted my new speakers yesterday. I attached the factory bracket to the aftermarket cup (slight trimming required) with the screw, and simply pressed the tweeter into the cup, with the hole in the back of the cup for the wiring. Very easy.
