My VK is a strange assortment of parts from various Commodore models and my father is the mechanic so please excuse my ignorance!

My VK has a blue 202 and was initially an auto (Hence having a vacuum gauge on the instrument display)

My father put in a clutch and fitted a Phillipino 4-speed, it all runs nice and smooth like you'd never know what had been done, but this means the speedo is out of sync (Approx. shows 2/3 of the speed you are actually doing) and instead of getting it adjusted I'd rather replace it with a tacho instrument display.

I was wondering if the 4-speed 202 VK came out with tacho instrumentation?

And if so, if I were to aquire one, where does the tacho hook up to?

Cheers

The adjustment is not in the speedo itself, you need the correct gear combination on the gearbox end of the speedo drive cable.

Yes you can get VK instruments with factory tachs, should be quite common. Tach hooks up to the negative side of the coil.
