VX-II Lumina Sedan
Exactly...When we did the first big day's drive from Bundy out to Barcaldine and covered 910 kilometers, spending about a total of a bit over $100, what would an extra 2 or 3 dollars been? Big deal. I too can't understand seeing brand new-ish cars which would obviously have air-con as standard (such as Calais', Fairmonts, luxury stuff like Jags and Mercedes, etc) driving around in summer with the windows down...jeez, if you can spring $60,000+ for something, you can afford the tiny amount (probably unmeasurable) of extra fuel you'd use with the air con on...

All said though, I still stand by what I said...our 2002 Lumina uses less fuel than most of the four cylinder cars we have ever owned, and I've owned a few.:D

Minux.... I meant that when you fill your Commie's tank and say 1 tank...... and I fill my Commie's tank and say 1 tank..... maybe our fuel guage sensors are a bit different.... you might get 65 liters in each time but I might get 67 liters in.... Get my drift ?
