Reusing Welsh Plugs

I've never reused them as basically interference fit in that they warp when tapped into block..moreso when taking them out un-usable.

Like EYY I view them as a sacrificial where you prefer welsh plug,thermostat housing etc to corrode before block or manifolds etc

If you don't want the manifold to rot out with the block then one has to ask the question why are manifolds all made out of cast alloy ?
