Basically this. If the customer concern doesn't match the bulletin the software can't be updated. They're very strict on auditing software updates. The bulletin states software updating is applicable for the exact list of concerns only and that anything else should be followed up as regular diagnosis (and henceforth if programming is required it MUST be approved by Technical Assist prior to carrying out the update).

If all else fails, take it in and complain about your iPhone being deleted from the bluetooth list.

Note the update hasn't been released for early navigation units and won't be coming out until early '15.

SF do you know if the earlier build Commodores will get the reversing lines feature in the software update in January or are there other reasons it wont be?

So I had my Sep 14 build SV6 in to Patterson Cheney for the 3000km free service last week. I mentioned that Mylink had frozen with my iphone connected and that I had read that there was a Mylink 3.0 upgrade. She looked at me strangely but said the guys would check. When the car got back from express service (meant to be one hour ended up being two and spent most of its time sitting around because I could see it in the service bay) she told me it had the latest software loaded already.

So those people who successfully obtained an upgrade, could someone please go into the menu and record the versions they have ?

It is Configuration, Radio Settings, Software Versions Menu, Software Versions Information you will get these 3 screens - so are these really the latest updates ?

I have a DEC MY13 which has had its 3K service and due for its 15K service in the next 30 days. My version details are as follows and i legitimatley do have the iPhone connectivity issues and NO reversing lines

Looks like yours are the same as mine except for 22950148. I also have experienced a lockup and no gridlines.

Took mine in for the 3000km service service today and asked about the iPhone dropout lockup to get the reversing lines upgrade. I was advised that they couldn't replicate the issue with their phones and it was an apple problem. I mentioned the upgrade I had heard about on the web and they advised I am running the latest software.

Can someone who DOES have the lines from a recent software update please post their version numbers as I have above so we can compare .......

Would it really be so hard for Holden to put a list of the latest versions of software for various items and models (especially recent models) on a website so the public and especially dealers are not so poorly informed! Is it really any different from Microsoft putting updates on their website, after all Holden supplied the software. Some items could possibly even be paid for and downloaded over the internet. Yes I know this would upset the poor old dealers who would not get a cut but the current way of doing things is an absolute shambles.
