Reverse Camera Guide Lines

Hi everyone, long time reader first time poster.
I can confirm there is an upgrade for the Mylink system which will give you the gridlines.
Had my 11/13 plated VF Redline in for it 15k service on Monday with a request to update the software to resolve iOS 8.1 issues.
From what we discussed it can be a painful process for them, they had to do mine twice as the system crashed the first time so you will need to push to get it.

Also helps that we spend a substantial amount of $$ with GMH, if I can sort out some pictures of versions I will post here soon.

I think the issue is the earlier radio models don't get guidelines at the moment (some talk about another update due in Jan which may give them guidelines). Friend of mine has his done the other day (August build), the dealer loaded in the latest version of Mylink which they had only received that week- yet no guidelines. There must have been a radio module change between August and December.

AGAIN - if anyone has the lines/update PLEASE post your version details here so we can identify in more detail what needs to happen at the dealers. the more detail the better for EVERYONE

I called my service department and commented about both of my apple devices not connecting and they said that there is a known issue and a software upgrade however they mentioned that they would need to see the issue first hand, of which my reply was along the lines of "so what happens if the issue doesnt show ? I'm not going to drive around for 3 weeks with a system that does not work the way it was intended from the factory" (my service is scheduled for 18 DEC) if the issue arises I would fix it by clearing phone/radio settings and trying again.

Does this update also fix the issue of Mylink not continuing with the song that was playing when you switch the car off?
Instead it starts halfway through some song that was playing at another time you turned the car off.

Rang my local dealer asked do have the mylink update.
They came to my work today picked up the car did the update returned the car no questions asked no charge
I now have grid lines and more features with my iphone like messaging
