Reverse lights not working after trans swap

    Hi guys.

    I recently swapped my auto trans over in my VS and ever since the Reverse lights won't come on anymore.

    Does anyone know what could have caused this ?

    I was thinking maybe I shorted the fuse or globes when I plugged the cables/wires into the new transmission but not sure as the battery was disconnected at the time

    First thing I thought, The neatural safety switch? Did you have problems before?

    nah was working fine before the swap, was just upon first start with the new trans I noticed I had no reverse lights

    I'd readjust the long rod that goes from under the selector to the transmission...loosen the bolt (in P) and wiggle about and re-tighten.....this presumes that when you put it all together the neutral safety switch and reverse switch ended up in a slightly different position than before. I was lucky with mine - bolted together like a bought one.
