Hey everybody, how has your weekend been? um to the point... on my VU the reverse lights do not work for either side, i had a look in it and the globes seem to be in good condition, not blown or anything. so i was wandering what could be some other causes, or is there anything i can check like on the gearbox to see if its connecting?

cheers mitch

If its a manual, disconnect the reverse light switch on the gearbox.
With the ignition on bridge the 2 wires together, if the lights come on, the switch is stuffed.

Reverse Light issues too...

Hi All,

I have a manual VT S pack.
The reverse lights are not activating when reverse is selected...

I have removed the cabin gear surrounds but can not locate the switch mechanism previously described.

I have tested the globes they are fine, however the power to the globe is not active at the globe connector plug.

Any help (& pics/diagrams) would be really appreciated.

the switch will be located on the gearbox itself, under the car
