VE Commodore
Hi, have 2006 VE Commodore.
Car suddenly lost power/speed & revs have been high.
On starting idle is at 1000rpm, at 100ks rpm is around 2500 which I don’t think is normal
On acceleration revs will go up to 4000+ but comes back to 2500 when pedal released.
Revs randomly drop then raise like power kicking in
Feels kind of heavy & like it’s working harder.
Any suggestions?

Timing chain done two years ago, gear box done around same time as I lost complete power on the highway...

Just guessing here but your throttle body could be faulty but you really need to get a scanner plugged in and see what’s going on

Thanks. We’re going to get it checked but no lights have come up to indicate any faults

I personally think it’s the throttle body but that’s only a guess really
