So 30 minutes ago I was driving home from my girlfriends house. Jumped on the highway like any other night and had my cruise control set to 105 km/h

Suddenly it sounded like it jumped to third ~ 3000 revs then the check engine light came on. 5 minutes later it went off but now when in gear my car will not rev over around 3500. but when parked I can rev it myself to over 5000 easily.

It isn't running badly or anything but it's just in struggle town whilst its limited to such low revs. Also when it does change gear from lights it slams on now that the revs are stuck.

VT s1 5.0L v8

Recently changed rotor, dizzy cap plugs leads and the alternator.

What do people think my issue is?

okay so just read the engine codes it has

19 - throttle position sensor
32 - air flow sensor
35 - idle speed error (IAC unable to control idle speed)

which should i do first? Last night when it happened i discovered it went into limp home mode

I'd do them all, but the TPS would be the first on my list.
