cheers bud, it’s been a long ride - 17 years I think come the end of February!

other thing I forgot to list is that I’ve got new gauges to go in, I’be got a new gauge mount cut from actual carbon fibre to match & match speedo fascia - bit of wank factor but it’ll all tie in nicely!

this is why jobs take me so much longer, but I turn a simple job like going from grey to black plastics a whole ordeal

Also got some lightly used genuine Holden scuff plates, my current flat plate ones have done their time!

Spent an hour re-assembling my rear console with re-upholstered lid & smokers pack & narva USB charge after painting it to match my Calais / SS silver dash fascia (ended up getting a colour match done as nothing came close to matching)

so happy with how it’s turning out already.

old rear grey trims off & new black trims on - now just to repeat for the front.

whilst everything was apart I deadened the doors & re-sealed the door with the car builders product as the original plastic sheet was hammered.

VX S2 / WH2 black Suede map holders installed, light grey VT on the left and the newer darker ones on the right (photo doesn’t show the difference that wells.

You can see the difference between the black plastics & the lower plastics in grey

One of the tabs that hooks to the back of the seat was broken when I got it, so crudely re-attached it with metal brackets and plastic JB weld - it’s not stupid if it works?

I need to know what colour they light up? Piss yellow or clean white?

mom waiting for my mechanic to be free to wire them up, hating the interior being in shambles - but yes, the idea of theCF gauges make my pants tight
