VN V6, nothing special
Not much of an update, car looks the same...

Changed Timing chain to a double row and obviously removed balance shaft and tensioner and I am now a firm believer that everyyyyyyyyy buick should have a double row, so much quieter...
So everyone with buicks (probably ecotec's aswell) put a double row on and stop being soft cocks because the vibrations that people were talking about are not even that bad and is extremellllllllllly over reacted by the haters (like all things car related really)

Wow, Completely forgot about this thread.

Pity there isn't much to update, the car is now just a daily since I bought another car. Hasn't changed at all over the last 3 years.

- Took out the sub and amps, now only runs off 4 speakers to the headunit.
- On VX SS wheels. Just so everybody knows, 255/40/17's will fit on these rims on the back, with rolled guards.
- Running dual rear sway bars. At the cost of $50, its worth it. Even for a daily.
- Had a shift kitted box in it, don't know if it was my torque converter or the gearbox slipping so I put a stock one in.
- Exhaust is a 2 muffler job because a quiet buick, is a good buick.
- Removed air con.
- Every engine gasket changed, top to bottom.
- Ecotec oil pressure spring for more oil pressure.

So in summary, I have made it boring and it's still slow. Gets a wash every 3-4 weeks instead of every week, Never gets driven over 3000-3500rpm unless overtaking and serviced every 7500 and cost about $45-50 to fill up because its on gas :)

But here is a current-ish picture.

And a random picture when i changed the gaskets

I'll probably put a thread up of the other car eventually (91 TT soarer GTT-L), since that will be the one getting cash thrown at it.

Sorry about the delay, I completely forgot to reply to this thread.

VN's in general look awesome with black bumpers :D
There are some pretty clean one's in the VN section.

Well since I'm here, probably the time to mention that the VN is getting wrecked and sent to scrap.
No point having 2 cars anymore, so the fast and luxurious one gets to stay.

If anybody wants parts from this thing, PM me.
I have a thread in the for sale section so feel free to make a stupid cheap offer on parts, I'd much rather give parts cheap to JC members than the car going straight to scrap.
