Rim sizes and some other questions i have

Hey guys i was just wondering whether or not i was able to put 19" rims in my 2004 sv6, im asuming i can just asking.
Also i was wondering about a cold air intake?? would it be worth it to have one put on my car??

19s go on fine i had them on my vz, i had to roll my rear guards tho aa it was pretty low and i had ve ssv's on it. Also a cold air intake goes great i put one if those in aswell and an exhaust.

ok sweet, thanks a heap. the main reason i ask about the cold air intake is because i have a gas system as well as fuel and a mate of mine said it may not work with the gas so yer.
what do you mean by roll the guards?

I had to press the lip under the rear wheel arch flush with the inside of the guard, but only because it was so low and it scrubbed on my tyres, if yours isnt lowered you shouldnt have a problem.

would 20's fit or would they be too big, its at stock height

20 will fit fine. think about this, the larger wheel you go, the less tyre profile. in other words, the rolling diameter will still be the same or close. only change will be the width of the rim. tyre size that should be the same size as standard rolling diameter should be 245/30/20, 225/30/20, 235/40/18, 245/35/19 or 225/35/19. just off the top of my head
