This is the offset 20X9 FRONT 20X10 REAR
45-OFFSET FRONT AND REAR 5/120 66.8 CENTRE BORE
1. Make sure the wheels you are buying have the 5 x 120 stud pattern or they will not fit obviously. ( PCD 5 x 120)
2. I have seen the “experts” claim 2 different VE hub measurements – one being 66.9 mm. (the other 66.7). Check the hub size on your car because if it is 66.9 mm, the wheel with a 66.8 mm centre bore is not going to fit over a 66.9 hub. Many after market wheels have a larger centre bore than this.
3. 9 inch wide FRONT – a 45 mm offset wheel will fit and you can fit either a 255 35 20 or 245 35 20 tyre. The 255 tyre will have a slightly higher tyre wall (profile) but provide a little more tread width.
4. 10 inch wide REAR – with a 45 mm offset - you will need a 275 30 20 tyre for this wheel to give you the correct tyre diameter for the car and the correct tyre width for the rim. This fitment is going to push the package a further 18 mm approx out towards the edge of the rear guard compared with the standard factory set up on the SV6 with 18 x 8 inch wheels (48 offset) and 245 45 18 tyres. Most likely with full suspension travel the outside face of the tyre will scrape the inside lip of the rear guard . It will be a very marginal fit but I think you will find the tyre face rubs the guards with enough suspension travel. In that event you would need to have the lips on the rear guards rolled up so they did not foul the rear tyres. ( If you fit the 9 inch rims with 45 offset to the rear with 255 35 20 tyres you will not have any rubbing issues to worry about).
