I've got a manual L77 SSV and I've heard swapping to a ripshifter might be a good option when I get my clutch replaced. Looking for feedback on who has them and what they think of them.
Cheers

If you are happy with the way it currently shifts or don’t plan on drag racing it, leave it alone.
I have had RipShifts in two cars and they are a good thing, but not necessary for everyday driving.

If plan on drag racing or track workit will help 2nd-3rd change...for street work highly doubt you'd notice the difference.

They are better to change with IMO and worth it, also it could save your clutch, i went from 2nd to 5th giving it a gutfull and burnt my clutch badly on a ute i had, rip shifter stops that from happening.

I just got one put in. Even in normal driving shifting is much more enjoyable.

Shifts can be a little noisier, especially down changing at low speeds. Doesn't bother me though.

I expect shift noise would be the least of your noise concerns.

Cheers for the replies guys. Much appreciated. I think I'll get one as the car's mostly a weekender anyway. Wouldn't mind doing a drag run or track day every now and then
