Hi all,

I'm considering purchasing a 2010 SSV. Looks in immaculate condition with low k's.

It has had some mods done to it:

"I've added an OTR Cold Air Intake with K&N Filter for breathability, HSV Tri-Y Stainless Extractors, XForce 3" Stainless Exhaust System and chrome twin tips"

I'm a bit concerned about this passing road worthy in the ACT? I know it's hard to tell without hearing/seeing it but I was wondering if anyone has any input?

Cheers,

Won't know if you don't ring up & ask....

One person can take modified car to one place pass without issue or could go elsewhere & fail.

If you're that concerned about it not passing or getting defects see if they still have factory parts like airbox/maf etc for it to slap back on so you can make it look stock.

Kept the stock parts for modded vy ss ute just in case it got defected & passed them on to new owner who was ACT.Never needed them.

Sounds like it should be fine anyway. Pretty tame mods

It will be fine, particularly as you can take it to any road worthy mechanic and it doesn't have to go to Hume. It's not an import and most places wouldn't really see those as any kind of serious modification.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm getting it shipped from Adelaide but hopefully that won't make a difference.
