As you can guess I need some help; the two rocker covers from the '95 VS V8 have been polished up but when I got them back the two "elbows" at the front had been taken out.
So, how do they go back in? Is it just with a few taps from a rubber mallet; or do you use some type of gasket-goo? Have looked everywhere I can think but no answers.
Don't want to put them back on and have the hose's keep blowing off. Await you technical expertise.

a couple of light taps with a mallet would suffice. i did that with mine because they were only sitting in there and now it feels abit tighter.. im not saying its the way to do it but i did that and its fine.

I just put mine on with a (clear) Silastic Silicone sealant - haven't given me a problem in 10 years.

Thanks for this - I'll get them done tomorrow. The VS they are from is a HSV 185i; much like the Clubsport engine?
