rocker cover question

hey guys my v6 vr has got a whole in top of one of rocker covers, are the vn-vr rocker covers the same?, rocker covers seems to cost a fair bit new.. and theres plenty of vns around here and should be able to get one from wrecker, and what will happen if i dont replace the rocker cover soon?

I am pretty sure YES, VN rocker covers are the same.

yep, vn-vr are all the same, but...(theres always a but) vn series one are a cast aluminium, and have a hole in passenger side for breather, which can be welded up. these ones are perfect to get polished and look schmick. vn s2 onwards are all a plastic kind of cover.
