my project 10 yrs in the making- finally getting panel beated :D



Odometer - 76,000miles (first time round)

Colour -Dripping Wet Black(soon)

Engine&Engine Mods -factory original 308 stroked to 355,L34 heads,

Gearbox - factory 3spd auto (trimatic)

Diff - VS disc brake custom 3.45 LSD

Suspension - Pedders Heavy Duty lowered front springs&rear shocks, Koni adjustable front shocks, standard rear leafies (for now)

Exhaust - none atm, need to get custom extractors, 2 1/2 inch xpipe dual setup

Wheels - 14x8 225s HK stockos (the dual slot ones) chrome dress rim, HQ statesman hub caps, white walls

Interior- full leather-wood grain trim original replica.

Why only a 327? The HG Monaro came out with the 350.

Plus it's a bonus having the original 308 still in it. Broughams are pretty thin on the ground these days...

^^ yea original 308 stroked will do fine, pics coming later tonight...doing sum rust repairs and just finished wire brushing the floor pan back to bare metal zzzz

HG were 253 V8 optional on all models, 308 V8 optional on all models, 350 V8 standard on Monaro GTS '350' and im pretty sure they were the first trimatic v8 combination. HK had the 327 and 307,the HT had the 308,307,350 and by original motor i meant numbers matching :)

Don't worry bout Ari, from what I've read, he doesn't get the concept of people wanting a matching numbers engine in their car if it's not the biggest factory option or if it's modified.

Now where's these pics? Always wanted a brougham.
