I dont really get ur question, what board is that? I dont know that dye is available in spray cans. If you have you roof lining out on a board, why not just buy the coloured fabric you want? Will prob cost you less then buying dyes.
Yes it can, I painted mine black with 1 - 2 cans of VHT Vinyl dye. Looks good. The only problem is it will smell for a few weeks while it leeches all the solvents out, so if you can leave it out of the car in the sun for a few days, do it.
Problem is as soon as you look a VN-VS roof lining they tend to sag let alone pulling them out and playing around with them, so I'd be more inclined to just replace the material with what ever color you want.
how hard is it to do it yourelf, like do i need to buy foam or can i just put adheasive and the material straight on the board?
Yep. VHT Vinyl spray. Awesome stuff! I went to 'Lincraft' to source material to retrim my interior, maybe try a place like that for new fabric in the colour you want then just glue it to the board. I've done interiors in the past with VHT an it can become a bit of a pain in the arse...
When my material started to sag I took out the board and reglued the fabric to it using contact cement, 4 years later an its still sticking. It is a bit annoying to do and you have to be patient! Glue down sections at a time.
Thanks bro, will have to try it when i get my lining refitted. or ill just do my old one and put black material on it
go to clark rubber toget the foam and then to spotlight for the material also while at clark rubber they have the good glue adhesive there costunder $100.
