I fitted the RotoFab to my Motorsport. I also replumbed the MSE with heater hose. It looks neat.
It changed the induction sound considerably. It sounds louder, but not as deep. The MSE sound takes a bit more to induce, but once it comes on it sounds amazing.
Throttle response and acceleration both improved somewhat.
If anyone is looking at getting one, make sure you order the 2017 model. If you don't have MSE, get the 2017 CAI, but ask them to provide the 2014 induction bend. The 2014 model has a tapered flange that the filter fits onto. The more you tighten the hose clamp, the further forward it goes, until it falls off. It's crap and is a known issue. That said, Roto Fab were great to deal with and sent me the 2017 kit at no cost.
Edit thanks to @3rspecB for his help!

I used 3/4 heater hose. Just got to tidy up the cut and clamp it.

I have both. But, have only used the oiled K&N. I like the look. No idea how it compares to an OTR, all other things being equal.

Oil is good if you live in the bush or more so dusty areas.

Otherwise paper does just as good a job.

The oiled filters cost more and the recharge kits aren't cheap so in many cases a paper filter can be cost effective and they are a quick change over where oil filters take time to properly clean and reoil.

I use both and possibly lean towards paper but like Cuda, I like the look of the K&N type filters.
