Hi guys, ive searched for answers here to no avail. I was recently told by a mechanic that my drivers side rotor has a hole in it. Is this even possible?

Thanks guys.

Have you taken the wheel off and had a look?

^ logical solution. 5 mins removing wheel or searching for answers to no avail about others freak occurrences.

Never had a hole in a rotor but as stated maybe try looking.

Here's what you'd be looking at and yep each one has lots of holes in them but I'd doubt from normal wear.
How long ago was the brakes services maybe when the brake fluid was last flushed or when the pads were replaced?

I park on a street that's busy and near a t intersection so cant work on it there. The brakes were done in october, i have a suspicion that they're trying to rort me. There's no squeal, they pull up very well and the brake pedal isn't spongy etc.

This is sad, shops taking advantage of women in this manner, shame on them.

Hi
When getting quotes for work to be done on car, take the car to 3-4 workshops, & see if they say the same thing.
Ask if they guarantee the work they do will fix the problem.
If they don't, go somewhere else.

That's no excuse. What if you went out one morning and you had a flat tyre?.....Flat only on the bottom of course. LOL.
Stop bitching about someone trying to "rort" you until you know what your talking about.
Simple jack up the car, take a front wheel off, to take a look, then look at the other side.

first you need to check it out first for yourself. if its pitted and has holes it will get worse and wear the brake pads down a lot quicker. just go to a car park at night time and check it out or take it elsewhere and ask them if you can have a look then you don't have to take it off yourself.

nothing worse then wearing down a brake pad and having metal on metal and having to pay out for new rotors and pads and maybe brake callipers instead of just new rotors.

it don't matter the sex of a person it matters the knowledge and the business practices.
