we need a lil more info on your car to see if we can diagnose whats happening
what size are the tyres on the 17s? do you know what shocks where installed ie sports or standard? what height is ur VS, ie do you have lowered springs?

I would say becoz your old shocks where totally shot, the ride was fairly soft, due to the shocks performing properly. Now that you have newies, there performing as they should and reacting to the road surfaces.

hey, the trres are 235/45/17 and the ride hight is standard, and pritty sure sockers were stardard ones. the car has done 400k and i have had it for now over 100k, just feels the car doesnt stay in staight line when hits a liitle divit on road. and like when over taking and car goes over crown of road feels like it pulls left to right, has just got wheel alignment, hard to explain. just feels like it hits evry bump and like unsettles the car

hrmm it sounds like everything was done properly, and at standard height you shouldnt be feeling every bump.

just checked my manual, and these are the things it lists

    Wandering or General Instability:
1, Improper tyre pressure - check tyre pressure
2, Incorrect front end alignment - Done
3, Worn or damaged steering linkage or suspension components - Get checked by a suspension pro
4, Improperly adjusted steering gear - again see a suspension pro
5, Out of balance wheels was this check with the wheel alignment?
6, Loose wheel lug nuts - this should have been done when wheels where put on, but just double check
7, worn rear shocks - Done

I think your best bet is to book yourself in to a suspension specialist to check all the other suspension components, being over 400,000kms on the car, i wonder if any of the bushes have been changed over, in its life time.

Yeah I reckon new bushes would help heaps. Get the camber sorted and check the steering rack and and steering column.

lol sorry i couldnt be more difinitive mate, its a lil hard to diagnose especially at standard height, but if none of the bushes have been changed, changing them, will make a world of difference.
