Rounded sump plug advice

Having a hard time removing the sump plug.
Last guy put on too tight been working hard to trry and get it off but is rounded.
Any advice please? Anyone else had this issue?

Use a good Single hex ( 6 point ) socket and you'll never have this issue with tight bolts. Something like these
