What is the rubber bush/spacer under the rear spring called? Does it do anything?

Mine is pretty dead. Figure I might as well do something about it while I’ve got most of the rear end out. Nolathane/Super Pro etc. all have spring spacers that add ride height, or the top bump stop bush. Can’t find much for the lower rubber.

Rear spring seat, rear spring isolator bush

About $30 for 2

I only just replaced mine a while ago

Stock is about 5mm thick

Any thicker than 5mm needs thought, at the rear 1 x 10mm bush will raise the car about 10mm from stock

Superpro and whiteline have what thickness raises by what height

I wouldn't buy that one - although it's supposed to be new, it looks like it has had a hard life. The one below in the " Sponsored items customers also bought" section looks much better at the same price.

Just looks like foggy black rubber that comes up fresh when wiped over.

You could buy 2 Nolathane, Superpro or Whiteline bushes for the price of that 1

I replaced my lower crushed broken OEM spring bushes with these

Just measure your originals and get the same thickness

It's the one I bought and used and it came sealed in plastic

I would have used that one too but it doesn't have the hat part that the genuine one has and if the genuine one has it then it must be there for a reason.

Its the lower bump stop, mine hasn't run the lower bump stop since I first got it with SSL on the rear, I've never had a issue then, and since raising it to FE2 height, no issues now, and now with the FE2 height I'm hitting speed humps alot harder than with the SSL
