Running 12v to centre console in VT

I am looking to run 12v (cigarette lighter) to my centre console so I can charge my phone in there. What is the best place to tap the power from and the best place to run the wiring.

Don't you already have a socket at the front of the console, below the radio and storage thing? Run the wires from there.

Dont want the wires to be visable, want them run under trim.

Why not use the same method as the VY and VZ? Place the socket in the rear console compartment and run the wires from the cigarette lighter socket under the console top cover back to the second socket. That's even better than the standard VY system because it gives you two effective sockets instead of one.

I meant, run the wires from the back of the existing socket and under the console.
