Hi all,
My plan is to run a 15” JBL sub with a 12” Kenwood sub and build a custom box to fit them behind the seats in my VE SS UTE.

Can anybody help me out with selecting an amp to run them both?

I’ll post the specs below for both, they’re both pretty similar in terms of wattage, but will it sound alright?

If anyone has done this before or has any ideas or tips to give me that would be great.

thanks in advance

p.s the reason I’m going with these subs is because I’ve already bought them both and always wanted the deep bass of a 15” mixed with the punchy bass from a 12”.

Would it be better to run 2 seperate amps rather than just 1 big amp?

You should look into using and tuning one of them with DSP or EQ with some kind of calibrated mic. Seems like a lot for a ute cab, and you might find it won't do what you want.

tuning is the key

with both running I think you will need the gain turned so far down it will pointless having two

There may not be enough room to make the enclosures especially for the 15 which will end up over 30 litres at least

unless of course you are going in those SPL comps
