hey anyone who has run amp power leads and rca's from the head unit to the boot, where is the best place to run them? A mate ripped his seats and everything out and ran them under all the carpet. Is there an easier way?

pull tour scuff plates out on the oposite side to the power wire for the amp and just slip them under the side of the carpet. then remove the bottom of ur back seat and run it behind the back seat through to the boot.

simple.

MAAKE SURE its on the OPPOSITE side to the power cable other wise you will get interfierance.

yea same, just as good as under the carpet really, just not as much work.
bus as brohawk said, do not run both the RCA and power cables together, run one on the drivrs side and one on the passengerside.

just as good ? i would say better seeing is thats where the factory runs the wiring and you dont have a lump in your carpet just keep im mind if you happen to have a colum shift auto (which i very much doubt so this is just a peice of useless information) then the hole thats best for threading the power cable through if you run it along the drivers side is covered up by the colum shifter :p i noticed this when i went to install the stereo in my ute having already done it in the sedan
