Running different types of timing chain?

Doing a timing chain swap and realised the two top chains are different from the bottom… My 2005 WL Statesman (v6) is no where close to the change over date from rollers to silent chains so I was surprised to find my two top chains which are roller chains being completely different from the bottom one, which seems to be a silent chain. Only just got the car hence the timing chain swap, but I didn’t know that was even possible,- running two different chains. Now do I need to find a kit that comes with both or was that just a mistake and it’s a good thing I’m swapping it back. (2005 LY7 Alloytec Stato)

Normally a Complete Replacement Chain Kit has the 3 chains, 3 x hydraulic tensioners, and guides to suit,

Not sure what you mean by running 2 different chains ?
The Left and Right chains are the same, and the bottom one is smaller.

Also give the oil galleries a blast with compressed air,
And when the chains are assembled, give them a squirt with oil so its not a dry start up,
and "change the Oil and filter before start up"

If your going that far, replace Oil Pump.

Righto thanks for the advice, will look into an oil pump. What I mean is I’ve heard time chains can be different styles, one looking like a bike chain and one looks like thin sheets of metal and a lip. Included photos of the two different chains.

I hadn't seen them for Cars,
as I have only seen the standard Alloytec chains

Dont buy any of those,

Buy the right part for the right job,
Because when it fails or doesn't fit, It wont be a Happy Ending.

Do it once, Do it properly,
Because you wont want to do it twice !

Yes sorry I’ve just google searched those photos I’ll include photos from my engine specifically. I found this forum through revhigh actually after I found their YouTube, and was planning to purchase from them . I am aware the chain has skipped some teeth, but I’m concerned about the fact that they don’t look like the same type of chain??
