Running factory amp with aftermarket H/U

Hi guys,

I have recently got myself a VZ thunder ss. I just wanted to know if I can run the factory amp and sub with a aftermarket head unit so i can play my phone though it?

Yes you can. Easiest way is to buy a VY-VZ stereo adaptor and solder it to the head unit harness.
I'm running aftermarket unit with factory amp/subs

I already have the adapter to suit. So it's really just plug and play?

Steering wheel controls are a different story though requiring an aftermarket transmitter but if your not bothered leave it out
